 Saint Victor la Coste is right in the middle of one of the biggest wine-growing regions in the world, the Cotes du Rhone. Apart from beautiful drives and walks you can take among the vineyards, you may visit wineries, and taste their production!
The most famous wines in the area, the reds and whites of Chateauneuf du Pape, are produced in a village of that same name that is just 20 minutes from here. Right nearby, you'll find Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Rasteau, Baumes-de-Venise, and so many more.

In villages right next to Saint Victor la Coste, some of the most respected wines of the region are produced : the rosé wines of Tavel (if you think you don't like rosé, try these!), the red, white and rosé of Lirac. The vineyards of Saint Victor la Coste itself are of Cotes du Rhone Villages Laudun appellation, known for both red and white wines. |
